The Law Offices of Aaron Resnick, P.A. is committed to community involvement and supporting the South Florida cultural arts scene. Aaron Resnick, a graduate of Leadership Miami, is a leader in the Miami's cultural arts scene. Mr. Resnick was awarded the “Shining Star” Award by the Arts & Business Council of Miami, Inc. This award each year honors the top Miami business professional supporting the arts and cultural community. Mr. Resnick was the founding chairperson of the Friends of the New World Symphony, and now serves permanently on its Executive Committee. He also sat on the Board of Directors for the Miami Design Preservation League for over 10 years. He has served on the executive committee for numerous young patron groups in South Florida including, but not limited to: Best Buddies of South Florida, Big Brothers Big Sister's Impact Circle, Art Crowd of the Bass Museum, the Green Room Society for the Center for Performing Arts, the Tropees of the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, the Jewish Legal Society of Miami, and the MOCA Shakers amongst others. He is a member of the South Beach Athletic Club and an active in local, state and national politics.
He is a Regional Board Member of the Maccabi World Union and a member of the Ben Gurion Society of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Currently, he is a member of the Silver Director's Circle for the Bass Museum, the President's Circle of the Museum of Contemporary Art (Miami), the Maestro's Circle for the Friends of the New World Symphony, and a Supporting Member of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts (and a member of the Green Room Society). Mr. Resnick serves on the board of directors for the Little Lighthouse Foundation, www.littlelighthouse.org, which is a Miami based charity that seeks, identifies and provides support to children and their families with health, educational, and financial challenges.
The Little Lighthouse Foundation
The Little Lighthouse Foundation (LLF) provides children with health, financial, or educational shortcomings an opportunity for growth through a team of volunteers that donate time and/or money. LLF bases its operations in the South Florida area and is managed by Aracibo Quintana, Aaron Resnick, Robert Sena, and Charlie Venturi. Mr. Resnick sits on its board of directors.
Bass Museum
The Bass Museum of Art is a renown art museum in Miami Beach, Florida featuring a collection of Antiquities, Renaissance, and Baroque art and also provides educational programs and teacher resources that aim to inspire a new generation of creative artists. Mr. Resnick is a member of the Silver Director's Circle and has sat on the executive committee for the Art Crowd. Currently, he also is on the host committee for the monthly Beats After Sunset @ the Bass.
Friends of New World Symphony
Friends of New World Symphony is a membership-only organization that aims to expose the younger generation to the New World Symphony and classical music. It's members enjoy access to New World Symphony events such as concerts, private luncheons, and other artistic events. Mr. Resnick was the founding chairperson of the Friends of the New World Symphony, and now serves permanently on its Executive Committee.
Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts
The Adrienne Arsht Center is Florida's largest performing arts center. In addition to world class concerts, the center also offers educational and community outreach programs. Through their various membership offerings, patrons can enjoy preferred access to ticketed concert events and invitations to exclusive gatherings. Mr. Resnick is a Supporting Member of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and has hosted a number of events for the organization.
Miami Design Preservation League
Miami Design Preservation League is a non-profit organization devoted to preserving, protecting, and promoting the cultural, social, economic, environmental and architectural integrity of the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District and all other areas of the City of Miami Beach where historic preservation is a concern. It was originally organized by Barbara Capitman in 1976 and is the oldest Art Deco Society in the World. The Law Offices of Aaron Resnick, P.A. is a supporter of Miami Design Preservation League and served on its Board of Directors for over 10 years.
Best Buddies of South Florida
Best Buddies of South Florida provides care and one-to-one friendships between trusted volunteers and people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Best Buddies has programs for middle, high, and college aged students. In addition, Best Buddies organizes employment opportunities for those with developmental disabilities, helping them to integrate into the South Florida community. Mr. Resnick has sat on executive committee for Best Buddies of South Florida and the law firm is a supporter of its causes.
Big Brothers Big Sister's Impact Circle
The Impact Circle is a young professional group organized for the purposes of philanthropy and community outreach. Membership allows individuals to socialize and network with other young professionals, and awards access to VIP events at Miami hotspots. All dues collected go towards Big Brother Big Sister charitable activities. Mr. Resnick is a founding member of the Impact Circle and has sat on its executive committee.
Green Room Society for Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts
The Green Room Society is a young professionals group that supports the Adrienne Arsht Center and the growing arts landscape in Miami. Members are passionate about the performing arts and get unique access to performances and Green Room events. Mr. Resnick is a founding executive committee member of the Green Room Society.
Flagler Street Society of Miami of the Historical Museum of Southern Florida
The Flagler Street Society of Miami (formerly Tropees) is a young professionals group (ages 21-45) that seeks to raise awareness and preserve the history of Miami and the surrounding area. Through fundraisers, the Flagler Street Society also raises funds for the museum, all in an effort to safeguard the history of Miami. Mr. Resnick served on the executive committee for the Tropees for a number of years, and the Law Offices of Aaron Resnick, P.A. supports the museum.
Jewish Legal Society of Miami
The Miami Jewish Legal Society is a non profit group whose purpose is to promote ethical and legal values that exist in the Talmud, and to draw comparisons between Talmudic Law and American Law. They accomplish these goals through CLE events, Judicial receptions, and legal events.
Museum of Contemporary Art (Miami)
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) is a museum located in the heart of downtown North Miami, Florida. The 23,000-square-foot structure was designed by the internationally acclaimed architecture firm Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects, New York, which worked in conjunction with the Miami firm of Gelabert-Navia to create the building. Mr. Resnick is a member of the President Circle
MOCA Shakers
The MOCA Shakers are a group of like-minded young professionals (aged 21-45), all with a passion for the arts. Membership within the Shakers grants access to numerous world-class exhibitions and artistic events. The Shakers are closely affiliated with the Museum of Contemporary Art, which prides itself as being the “place where new art is discovered.” Mr. Resnick has sat on the executive committee for the MOCA Shakers.
Maccabi World Union
The Maccabi World Union is an international Jewish sports organization that operates in over 50 countries and comprises 400,000 members. It is responsible for the Maccabi Games, a popular international Jewish athletic tournament. The Union is split into six confederations, each one representing a different continent or region of the world. Mr. Resnick is a regional board member of the Maccabi World Union.
Ben Gurion Society of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation
The Ben Gurion Society is a national donor recognition program that seeks donations to fund the Jewish Federation's activities. Mr. Resnick is a member of the Ben Gurion Society.
The Carma Foundation
The mission of the Carma Foundation is to improve the health and lives of women and children in Haiti. Through media attention, Carma seeks to raise awareness of the impoverished conditions Haitian women and children face each day. Next, trough donations and volunteer work, Carma seeks to effectively improve the lives of these victims. The Law Offices of Aaron Resnick, P.A. is a supporter of the Carma Foundation and its efforts.
Women at the WAIL, Inc.
Based in South Florida, Women at the Wail seeks to provide food, clothing, and shelter to those who need it. But the mission is not simply to house those who are in need, but rather to rehabilitate their mind, body and soul. Through their Women's Residential Program, Homeless Outreach, and Extended Outreach, Women at the WAIL attempts to assist anyone, regardless of race, color, sex, or age. The Law Offices of Aaron Resnick, P.A. is a supporter of Women at the Wail and its efforts to help those in need.
Miami Art Museum
Miami Art Museum, a modern and contemporary art museum located in downtown Miami, FL, is dedicated to collecting and exhibiting international art of the 20th and 21st centuries with an emphasis on the cultures of the Atlantic Rim—the Americas, Europe and Africa—from which the vast majority of Miami residents hail. MAM Contemporaries, Miami Art Museum's dynamic support organization, is a group of young professionals who are curious about Miami's constantly evolving art scene. This cosmopolitan group, open to MAM members between the ages of 21 to 41, offers those interested in the visual arts the opportunity to contribute to the cultural vitality of South Florida through art-related events and programs. Mr. Resnick is a supporting member of the Museum and a member of the MAM Contemporaries.
Arts and Business Council of Miami
The Arts & Business Council of Miami (ABC) is a unique program making a positive and significant difference in South Florida assisting more than 500 arts groups and thousands of individual artists through volunteer programs, educational outreach, leadership training, collaborations and networking events. ABC serves as a vigorous and effective catalyst for building working partnerships between the corporate & cultural communities. ABC has proven value to all organizations from grass roots emerging groups to majors. cultural institutions.
Brian Grant Foundation
The Brian Grant Foundation supports efforts toward the education and awareness of Parkinson's Disease in order to increase earlier diagnosis, educate patients and their families, and provide a viable forum for people affected by the disease. Additionally, the foundation supports and funds research dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease and to finding improved therapies for people living with Parkinson's Disease. The Law Offices of Aaron Resnick, P.A. is a supporter of the Brian Grant Foundation and its efforts to address Parkinson's Disease.
